According to http://iwl.me/ , my fiction and non-fiction writing most resembles Kurt Vonnegut. Except when I'm writing about important social issues. Then, consistently, I come across as Douglas Adams. I think I understand why I'm not taken seriously any longer.
It could be worse, though. Doqz keeps coming up as Dan Brown. Anything you want to admit?

Huh, that's actually quite interesting. Maybe I should write more detective novels. :)
Interestingly, putting in a chapter of an actual story I've written, rather then just a journal entry, it comes up with Rudyard Kipling.
So it seems my conversational tone is Raymond Chandler, and my 'writing' tone is Rudyard Kipling. Interesting.

Actually, neither of those surprises me that much, now I think about it.
